Ballou Senior High: Audio Technology Lab
Listen Vision arrived at Ballou Senior High with a mandate to replace outdated technology with the latest in digital audio equipment. Optimized for the classroom environment, this new Audio Technology Lab features brand new iMacs loaded with Pro Tools 9, M-Audio MIDI controllers, Digidesign Mbox's, Shure microphones and an array of other digital tools. The outfitting of numerous, state-of-the-art production stations ensures that each student will learn in a hands-on environment, and by combining professional-grade equipment with advanced techniques, enthusiastic graduates are prepared for post-secondary study and a potential career within this competitive industry.

MacFarland Middle School: Auditorium Live Sound & Video
With a large, beautifully renovated auditorium, MacFarland Middle School was missing a key component to bring this wonderful space to life: a live sound and video package capable of supporting big events and big audiences. To this end, Listen Vision was called upon to design and install a major audio/video system that was both user-friendly and robust enough to support multiple simultaneous performances. The video portion of this package includes a professional-grade digital projector and theater-sized motorized movie screen, routed to a mobile control station with laptop and digital cam-corder for recording of events.

Cardozo Senior High: Studio Classroom & Live Sound Package
Listen Vision, OPEFM and Keystone Plus Construction partnered to deliver a Recording Studio and a Live Event Sound Package to Cardozo Senior High, one of DC's flagship schools. Our belief in the modernization efforts taking place in many areas of the DCPS led us on a year-long journey to plan and obtain funding for this project. Now up and running, the studio and collateral live sound equipment are already enriching students' lives and exposing them to a valuable learning experience within new Audio Engineering classes taught by the Listen Vision Academy.
